Prime Line is being built around a simple idea: combine sound cattle knowledge, proven genetics and useful technology to help herds become healthier, more productive and easier to manage.
Our focus today
Our first priority is building a credible breeding program. That means thoughtful selection, honest records and cattle that perform in real farm conditions. These are the areas at the centre of our work.
Good cattle begin with good decisions. We focus on carefully selected genetics that can improve maternal ability, performance, structural soundness and consistency across the herd. As the program develops, available breeding stock and genetic opportunities will be supported by clear, useful records.
Our goal is to develop functional, productive cattle—not animals selected on numbers alone. Fertility, temperament, feet and legs, udder quality and the ability to raise a strong calf all matter. Animal profiles and availability will be published as the herd is established.
Every farm is different. We believe the best advice starts with listening, understanding the herd and working toward practical goals. Our approach connects genetics, reproduction, nutrition and records to help producers make informed decisions that fit their operation.
Looking ahead
These services are part of our longer-term direction. We will introduce them only when they are ready to provide real value to cattle producers.
Over time, we plan to share practical training for producers and industry professionals. The focus will be clear, useful knowledge—from breeding decisions and reproductive planning to everyday herd management—without unnecessary jargon.
Reliable records start with reliable identification. We are exploring tools such as ear tags, electronic identification and traceability systems that can make it easier to follow animal health, breeding and performance throughout the production cycle.
Useful technology should make farm work simpler. Our longer-term vision includes straightforward herd-management tools that bring health, breeding and production information together, helping producers see patterns and make timely decisions.
